Blue Plans
Place [at table] explores our universal yearning to have a place at the table... to partake, share, know, receive, and be nourished in and by community. Yet, there is a small table with a limited number of places set in contrast to the large diverse community that surrounds it. Yet, the people wait, inconclusively. The piece was created before the pandemic and before the increased social unrest of 2021, but it seems to speak in a timely way to our instinctive need to be community.
